You can now access My Care Rewards, MEFCU’s new Debit and Credit Card rewards program! You don’t need to do anything to get started, just continue making your everyday purchases with your card to rack up the points!

Spend - Earn - Redeem

You’ll earn points whenever and wherever you use your card, whether it’s online or in-person. When you’re ready to use your points, visit “Cards (Debit/Credit)” then “My Care Rewards” in Online Banking, or “More”, “Cards (Debit/Credit),” then “My Care Rewards” in Mobile Banking to visit our rewards site. This is where you'll browse and redeem rewards. You’ll be able to use your points towards:

Real-Time Rewards

Pay With Points: Use points and receive a statement credit to cover the cost of transactions!
Check Out With Points: Use your card at participating merchants and redeem points for a discount toward qualifying purchases at checkout!
Fuel With Points: Use your card at any participating station when fueling up and redeem rewards at the pump!

Receive bonus points

You’ll automatically receive 500 bonus points when you visit the rewards website for the first time. Just visit Online or Mobile Banking and choose the “My Care Rewards” link to visit the site and earn bonus points!

Q: If I have a Credit and Debit card, are my points combined?
A: Yes, points earned from both are combined and will be available in your rewards account.

Q: Does it cost anything to be in this program?
A: No, it does not. All you need is your MEFCU Credit or Debit card. Both cards will earn points automatically for this program.

Q: When did my card start earning points?
A: Cards began earning points on October 26, 2025.

Q: Do points expire?
A: Points earned expire after 3 years.

Q: What is happening to the 1% reward I receive with my Credit Card purchases today?
A: This new program will be replacing the 1% reward as it offers additional benefit redemption options. You’ll still earn 1% on your purchases, but with My Care Rewards, that 1% will be points that can be redeemed for cash back, statement credit, gift card, merchandise, etc. Another added benefit is you can redeem your points on your schedule!

Q: Do balance transfers or cash advances earn points?
A: No, points are only earned on card purchases.

Q: How does the cash back reward work?
A: The Cash Back option can be applied as a statement credit if you have a credit card, or can be redeemed and directly deposited into your MEFCU savings or checking account.

Q: I received an email about My Care Rewards, but the address doesn’t appear to be coming from MEFCU. It is safe to open and click on links from this source?
A: Yes, it is. You will get occasional emails from the vendor who facilitates My Care Rewards. You will see occasional emails introducing the program, reminding you of your balance, confirming points have been redeemed, and more.

As a reminder, MEFCU will never contact you by email, text, or phone and ask for your member number or other sensitive information. 

Q: How many points do I earn from transactions?
A: MEFCU Credit Cards earn 1 point for every $1 spent, and Debit Cards earn 1 point for every $4 spent.
