We are excited to report we have collected 19.8 lbs of Pop Tabs for this year's donation, along with an additional $2,000 donation from MEFCU!
Our team has collected 19.8 lbs of Pop Tabs for Ronald McDonald House (more than double last year's donation) - all of which were dropped off in Rochester on Thursday, October 8th! In addition to the pop-tab donation, MEFCU also donated $2,000 to the organization. Jon Niebergall, the Ronald McDonald House's Development Officer, was happy to receive our donations!
The House was so thankful for MEFCU's donation and our continued efforts for pop-tab collection. It's the support from our community that enables Ronald McDonald House to keep providing assistance to the families that need it!
Ronald McDonald House brings the Pop Tabs to recycling facilities and exchanges the aluminum for cash. 100% of the funds go towards RMH's mission of providing a "home-away-from-home" for families with children receiving medical care. Each year, the Pop Tab Program raises between $10,000-$15,000 for RMHC Midwest MN, WI, IA.
