We collect information that is made available to us as a result of your participation in our text messaging member service program. We use this information to provide the text messaging program to you and to improve our products and services. Communications are retained for quality, legal and regulatory purposes and will be securely stored as long as it is necessary to fulfill the original purpose for their collection.

MEFCU protects the privacy of user information and complies with applicable privacy law. We also guarantee the privacy and security of user data through third-party contracts with our service providers. We never disclose your information to third parties for marketing purposes. We do not collect personally-identifiable data from people whom we know to be less than 13 years of age. All personal data unintentionally collected from children younger than 13 will be deleted from our database.

For your own security and safety, never send personal or confidential information (credit card numbers, usernames, passwords or any other confidential information) by text.
